The Flag of Tennessee consists of three stars in a circle on a field
of red, with a strip of blue on the right side. The flag was designed
by a soldier named LeRoy Reeves of the Third Regiment, Tennessee
Infantry.
The Flag of Tennessee design was described by that act, Chapter
498 of the Public Acts of 1905, as follows:
An oblong flag or banner in length one and two thirds times its width,
the large or principal field of same to be of color red,
The flag of Tennessee is
simple without much complication.
There are three colors in the flag red, blue and white, there are
three stars on the flag inside blue circle with a white border, the
stars, too are in the color white.
