A method of folding the Flag of Ohio was created by Alex Weinstock, an
Ohio Boy Scout, for his Eagle Scout service project, which was passed
by the 125th Ohio General Assembly as House Bill 552, and signed into
law by Governor Bob Taft on February 15, 2005.
When the flag of Ohio, or any state, is flown on the same halyard with
the flag of the United States of America, the U.S. flag should always
be at the peak. When flown from adjacent staffs, the Stars and Stripes
should be hoisted first and lowered last.
The flag of Ohio can
be pictorially describes as it has three colors in it red, white, and
blue. The shape of the flag is pennant. It is designed after a curl
war cavalry. It is having three red and two white horizontal stripes.
