The flag of Morocco
The flag of Morocco ( Arabic: علم المغرب) is made of a red field with
a black-bordered green interwoven star. Red has considerable historic
significance in Morocco, proclaiming the descent of the royal family
from the Prophet Muhammad via Fatima, the wife of Ali, the fourth
Caliph.
Concerning the descritption of the flag of Morocco, here is an excerpt

4 September 1992):
Chapter One
General provisions
Article 7: The emblem of
organizations who fly the flag of Morocco on a daily basis.

5ft sizes in nylon and 3ft x 5ft in Superknit polyester.
The flag of Morocco is composed of red with a green pentacle
(five-pointed, linear star) known as Sulayman's (Solomon's) seal in
the center of the flag; red and green are traditional colors in Arab
flags, although the use of red is more commonly associated with the
National Flag of Morocco: EPS vector format in both official
proportions and a standard sized 3:5 ratio version.

Background:
In 788, about a century after the Arab conquest of North Africa,
successive Moorish dynasties began to rule in Morocco.
